This October, I’ll be running the Twin Cities 10 Mile to support Crescent Cove, the first and only respite & hospice home for children and their families here in Minnesota.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart. As a special education teacher, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and families who navigate challenges that most people never see. My connection to Crescent Cove became especially personal through a student I was lucky enough to meet during my very first year of teaching, Louie. 💙
Louie and his family touched my life in a way that will stay with me forever. Their family was able to utilize Crescent Cove’s services, and witnessing the support and care they received showed me just how important a resource like this can be for families who need a safe place to turn.💙
Running these 10 miles is one small way I can honor Louie’s memory, support his family, and help make sure other families have access to the same kind of compassion and support when they need it most.
My hope is to raise funds for Crescent Cove so they can continue providing a safe, loving resource for Minnesota families. Families who deserve support, rest, and a community beside them.
